Pros
Most of the projects they work on are full of people who really care about their work. They take pride in it, and come up with some really impressive stuff! They’re pretty good at keeping overtime to a minimum, but are understanding if you feel like you need some extra hours to work on something. I never felt like I needed to do overtime, most of the time they tried to make sure we didn’t.
Cons
The pay was horrible. I was starting with a BS degree in CS, industry experience, and 7 years of experience with Unity. It was insulting. From what I understand, nobody else was making that much more though. Even directors and producers had to rent apartments with roommates and were only barely getting by. I wouldn’t recommend ANYONE work here. If you’re just starting off your career in game dev and truly can’t get a job anywhere else, I can see why working here is a good first step. But for pretty much anyone else, I’d say stay away.
