Pros
Big global company with lots of interesting projects, backed up by Orbia. Office looks nice.
Cons
You need to be lucky with your manager. When your manager is backing you up, you will have a great time here. Unfortunately there are quite some unqualified managers working here, like mine, making your time at Wavin unbearable and frustrating. Others on the other hand are nice and fun, there is even one who had a relationship with a subordinate. The terrible HR at Wavin won’t take responsibility when you need help. They just follow the standard script/procedure. No initiatives from them to keep the people happy. Very strict, no fun activities (no Christmas parties for example) and definitely not open for change. This might explain the high turnover rate of staff lately. Since I started working here I already noticed that we’re doing business with an expensive, but unreliable, agency making everything unnecessary complicated and complex. They don’t deliver and just keep expanding while we fork out more money each month. And no one at Wavin who actually checks the books or does something. When people quit around here, they won’t get a proper goodbye either. Cold and heartless. If you are thinking about joining, please ask the right questions during your interview to make sure you fit the team and to get the rights answers to why your predecessor quit the job.
