Pros

Hours are normal business hour. You get a paycheck, and low healthcare premium (high deductible) I wish I had more.

Cons

Wow where to begin? First the morale in this building is atrocious. I had HR asking me why the morale was so low. That's a problem. Have a issue with your account ? Look to blame the next department who will look to blame you. Second, there is no training program so be prepared to hit the ground running on a never ending treadmill. The main computer system is a 1980's program where you have to trailer out to go backwards. Most millennials don't even know what that means. Third, I tried I really did. I tried to reach out to my manager weekly or bi-weekly but he had his favorites and I wasn't one of them. After struggling initially and then working on a failing account he realized he had no use for me and pretty much ignored me. I asked and asked for more work and then finally came to realization if they don't care, why should I?

Pros

Wasserstrom has a strong core of long‑tenured associates, which speaks to both the stability of the company and the quality of the work environment. The average associate tenure is over a decade, and with more than 123 years in business, there is a deep sense of history, craftsmanship, and commitment across the organization. Many associates have built long careers here, contributing deep knowledge and a genuine willingness to mentor, collaborate, and support one another. One of the company’s unique strengths is the close connection between the corporate office and the shop floor. Having these teams physically and operationally connected creates strong alignment, real‑time collaboration, and a shared sense of ownership in the work being done. While the company values its traditions, it is also forward‑thinking and continues to invest in innovation, process improvements, and new ways of doing business. Turnover is low, associates take pride in what they build, and it shows in both the quality of the work and the overall culture. Leadership is approachable, teamwork is encouraged, and there is a clear emphasis on safety, consistency, and continuous improvement. Associates are given opportunities to learn, grow, and build lasting careers while contributing to a company that continues to evolve and innovate.

Cons

Because the company has many long‑serving associates and established processes, the environment may feel more structured or traditional for those who prefer constant change.
