Pros

I feel a deep sense of camaraderie among my coworkers at my pay grade.

Cons

The deep sense of camaraderie is rooted in quietly trying to improve working conditions for ourselves. Most of us have admitted that our workload is more than anyone can be expected to complete in 40 hours and that we are finding work incredibly intrusive throughout all hours of the day. I also regularly find myself working on the weekends. During the regular 9-5 hours I feel immense pressure to be productive at my physical capacity through all of the projects I'm working on & meetings I have to attend. On top of all of the office work I'm doing, there are just enough events that are mandatory and "not mandatory" to make me question my own sanity about whether I'm working for an evil company.
