Pros

Casual dress code. Weekly pay.

Cons

This company is entirely dependent on Honda. When Honda is running, they push you to the point of burnout (6 day work week, anyone?) If for any reason Honda isn't running, your hours get cut or they email you instructions on how to apply for EI. No joke.

Pros

Make a decent wage Dedicated runs, you pick which run you want yearly by seniority, good runs gone early but with 3-5 years exp you can get a good one Trucks and trailers are new and well taken care of Most places you deliver are easy to get in and out of No hourly at the time but that's changed. Good job.

Cons

The "safety features" in the truck make you feel like your driving pin ball machine, very distracting and were why I left. Hard to get time off, was a battle to get 2 days a week off, had to fight for it every week, it was assumed that if you got your work done in 5 days you wanted to do another short one. No matter how many times you said you wanted 2 days off. The auto start wakes you up every 2 hours it's impossible to get a good night sleep. Other trucks I've driven start less often and don't shake as much.

Thank you for your detailed review and for sharing your experience. We’re glad you appreciated the wages, dedicated runs, and well-maintained equipment, as well as the improvements like adding hourly pay. We understand that safety features in the trucks can sometimes feel frustrating. While we don’t manufacture the trucks ourselves, we aim to ensure they’re equipped with the latest technology to prioritize safety. Regarding time off and work-life balance, we acknowledge the importance of rest and will continue to explore ways to provide greater flexibility and balance for our team. We want every driver to feel supported both on and off the road. Thank you again for your insights, and we wish you the best in your future endeavours. If you’d like to discuss your experience further, please don’t hesitate to reach out to social@warrengibson.com we value constructive feedback to grow and improve!

Pros

Decent pay, tons of work if you want to live there, mostly independent work.

Cons

Way too many hours per week. Nobody will listen if you tell them you want a different run or less hours per week. The safety/hr department are constantly looking for issues with your driving/paperwork which makes you feel under the gun constantly
