Pros

Amazing building, great perks such as the gym, lunch allowance and just the space itself makes it fun to work.

Cons

How teams can be so not in sync. Different departments dont prioritize black music compared to pop acts.

Pros

Warner Records, historic artist roster, the perks of the role -- similar to other entertainment role perks.

Cons

For this label to have as many black artists (rap, hip-hop, R&B) as it does -- the executive personnel is extremely old (dated) and white. They are completely out of touch with urban (black) culture and how the urban audience discovers and engages with urban music. The digital marketing dept is governed by two individuals who are not in or of urban culture (black music) in any way. I've had multiple instances where I had to involve HR due to blatant cultural insensitivity along with deliberate, non-elevated approaches & support to digital marketing for urban artists - complete contrast to the digital support they provide for pop, rock & country artists. If you have a true passion for rap, hip-hop & R&B - Warner Records may not be for you.
