Pros

The only pro is being employed.

Cons

I have recruited for over 10 years and have never worked for such a shady and unprofessional company. I left an amazing company to take on this role and I realized only after a day or 2 I made a huge mistake! I was asked to work 3 hours into the evening after my 2nd day on the job and was continuously asked almost every day after. You will be micromanaged like a child and asked every couple of hours what submissions you have. My training consisted of about 2 hours and the rest I learned on my own. You will be be given a laptop as they want you to be tied to your desk all day everyday. Out of the blue after NO warnings or even given my metrics I was called by the Director after being there only 2 weeks and was fired. I was told that the owners and him had decided it was no longer a good fit as I didn't produce what they wanted me to at this point My response was, " I haven't even been trained and how do you know I can't produce when I have been here 2 weeks?" I was then expected to have all of their equipment back to them the next day, they were VERY concerned about this. Despite getting the equipment back I have yet to get my last paycheck which I should have had 2 weeks ago. Did I mention another recruiter resigned my second week on the job without even having another job it was so toxic? Not to mention another recruiter that quit right after I left, leaving them with only 2. They have also been through 3 recruiting directors in 6 months. Its a joke of a company that only cares about money and not their employees. Don't drink the Kool aid and run the other way!

Pros

I've been part of Walker Healthforce team for the past 2 years now and the experience has been smooth from the start. Communication is easy, they keep things professional, and placing me was quick and hassle-free. Happy with the setup and would recommend them to others

Cons

Not much visibility into the company itself since I'm remote, but that's the nature of contracting

Pros

I’m struggling to add to the pro box Paid my bills (barely) while I looked for another job.

Cons

While looking through the reviews, I’m reminded of why I took the position here. So many positive reviews with a few negative sprinkled in. And all are either a 5 or a 1. When I was contemplating coming here, my first thought was those negatives must be disgruntled ex employees! However, after month one I realized that those reviews were simply from people who didn’t cave to the constant email reminders to leave your 5 star review after ONE WEEK of employment. You aren’t even aware of what you don’t know. But it didn’t take long to realize how toxic it is to work here. Read the last negative review. Written by someone who is 100% correct about the culture. Look at the titles of most of the positive reviews. These are from contracted workers. Not from Walker employees. And recall what I said about the ones that are from employees. You are emailed relentlessly from the time you start to work at Walker to leave your 5 star Glassdoor review. I almost caved and just did it but then I thought, how can they know or make me? So I held off. And am I glad I did. One week or a month isn’t enough to experience the true horror of being there. But it comes. And if you’ve ever worked for a true industry leading company, this is not the place for you. You should expect true one on ones with your manager, guidance and feedback. I was told they didn’t have time for that. But would randomly cold call on teams to tell you what you weren’t doing. I was sold a position that changed weekly with false promises. Worked for a person whom I cannot believe holds this position. Whom I am fairly certain makes mistakes and then twists the story to the CEO and blames others. Who is actually the person who creates most of the drama and toxicity that exists. I have happily moved on but when I think back, I shudder at the feeling of being imprisoned at my desk. I felt it important to come here to warn others. And if you decide to ignore my advice, I wish you the best. However, when you realize what you’ve gotten yourself into, come back and read this review. Don’t say I didn’t try to warn you.
