Pros
Solving customer problems and helping them to get, live, and stay well. Somewhat "affordable" healthcare - although pre-Obamacare coverage was less expensive, had a co-pay 9now lost), and included a more comprehensive annual physical.
Cons
Somewhat "shaky" career path with lots of uncertainty if/when promotions will occur at all. Low pay relative to the work pace, stress level, responsibility and performance being asked of employees. And, life in a retail environment (any company) severely compromises one's own quality of life due to frequently rotating shifts with different start/end times each day. And, in a very odd move, the company has changed its work week to start on Thursday, ending the following Wednesday... which should not but actually does cause confusion with one's own planning.
