Pros
-Get to work with plenty of good people. Employees are well-chosen (at least in my store). -Learning how to manage people should be a valuable skill. -Learning all aspects of the store from the front end to the pharmacy.
Cons
-If you have bad managers, you will suffer. Fortunately my store has two good ones (and I think I'm one of those!). -Irate customers. -It pays better than unemployment (just barely!)... -Upward mobility requires massive hours at work. Store managers work 6+ (10+ hours per day) days per week. Ridiculous! -Can't the biggest drugstore chain in the world afford better equipment? The registers are in serious need of upgrading, along with the photo lab equipment. Seem that they spend most of the money on the pharmacy.
