Pros
Good benefits with some good employee incentives.
Cons
Boy, where does one begin? This is the worst company I have ever worked for and it was through acquisition which made the entire thing that much worse. I have worked for large companies before, but this one made me question how large business operates robbing people blind and disposing of them like trash. I am not saying they actually rob your money, it's your time. The lies they sell to have people stay and help THEM transition only to then lay off the very employees who should have been given chances. The practices of Waste Management are that of the typical entirely too much overhead and completely undermine all those at the bottom. Granted, I can't speak for the practices they have when a person actually begins with their company not by way of acquisition. However, acquisitions are very delicate. It is never the employees fault that a company decides to sell. Why is it that the short end of the stick is the one extended to those who work hard and help companies grow only for those companies to toss them aside? I blame both companies, my former employee pre-acquisition and Waste Management post. How this company came to be so successful boggles my mind because I worked throughout the acquisition enough to have seen the lot of the issues with their business practices.
