Pros
Peer staff work well as a team and encourage each other.
Cons
High expectation to hard-sell "employment." Management on you regularly to meet "KPI's;" mostly because of company pressure to not lose Ministry contract. Very bureaucratic and numbers-oriented. Excessively high case load and expectation to get people a job quick in order to keep money coming in from the Ministry. Wage and benefits are considered good in the context of the field's average but are quite low compared to the amount of pressure, stress and number of cases each has to carry. Poor training model(s). Not so much career and job development as social work and high-pressure sales.
