-boss is difficult -lousy increment and bonus. staff underpaid. -they “use” u, they don’t grow u -toxic work culture. u are unfairly judged based on your OT hours. (if u stay late to have long dinners, watch Netflix, study ppe, do your own thing but log it in OT, boss is happy. if u work hard and finish your work and go home on time, boss not happy) -u r expected to be a slave. work is your life. -hard to take leave for more than 1 or 2 days. invisible pressure applied. -if u stay long enough, boss “promotes” u by upgrading your cubicle bay. no salary increment, no change in job title -plenty of juniors, lack of seniors as no one in the right mind will stay on. -no future. boss is old. company has no succession plans.
