Pros

Really challenging technical issues that enforce creative problem solving Lots of brilliant people in the engineering side of things Decent pay and very good benefits

Cons

Everything else. Morale is non-existent at this point. Managers and executives are already jumping ship and the mass exodus has begun. All problems stem from the CEO's mind-boggling arrogance and refusal to recognize glaring issues. After engineers had been staying up late and coming in weekends to solve endless technical issues, we were told to (and I quote) "start working hard". Entire departments have fled and those who are left are expected to pick up the slack with zero recognition or compensation. The constant re-structuring is comically branded as tactical decision-making, even though we can all see when a department head quits or is fired. The only people with hope left in our leadership are either grossly misled or toxic sycophants.

Pros

Good pay Great people to work with, I've never met such a supportive and welcoming team

Cons

Must be a self-starter. While this is not a major con, if you expect to sit and be assigned work, I don't think this place is for you.

Pros

Engineering team is full of great people. Middle management was solid. Technology was interesting and cool to work on.

Cons

Decision-making was erratic and rarely took input from the people on the floor actually making things work. Company does not care about people, just what it can squeeze from them. Poor decisions would get made and speaking about them was frowned upon. Inter-departmental conflict slowed everything down. It felt like working in the Chernobyl show: question nothing, watch as completely avoidable problems make everyone’s lives harder.
