Management expectations are numerous and unreasonable. You are expected to produce above and beyond but still get treated like profit making pawns of greedy self serving owners who care nothing about the safety or morale of their employees. Good luck on getting time off for a Doctors visit, you get dinged($200) if you have to stay home for a family emergency - vacations are handed out on the whims and fancies of management. It does not matter how hard you worked the day before, or how dangerous the job conditions are - you are expected to do it. Work related injuries are frowned down on and they get pissed off if you get injured and WSIB gets involved. If you fall sick on the job, you are expected to work until management decides to get another tech to replace you or if you fall sick the night before you have to come into the shop to prove that you are actually sick. Dispatch is totally clueless, so that's no help. I could go on and on.
