Pros
You have complete control over your career growth here. And everyone is given the same opportunity to achieve that growth. The company only promotes from within. They don't bring in managers from the outside. I love that. The management team knows exactly how to help their team members grow because they have been there themselves. This fact promotes a company culture of respect and teamwork. Team members all help each other improve their current skill sets and master new ones. The management team continuously provides opportunities for employees to positively impact their coworkers. They even do team night events and tend to have a pretty fun Holiday Party. Giving back to the community is encouraged around the office. HR organizes volunteer opportunities for staff to take part in with places like the Oregon Humane Society or Habitat for Humanity. The atmosphere in the office is fun and inviting while simultaneously being growth oriented. Which is great, since the company has been expanding recently (so as far as I can see) there is no ceiling on upward mobility here. I found a place where my individual efforts are rewarded. A place where I can make an impact on my career, my earning potential, and my local community.
Cons
The hours are non-traditional. Not your standard Mon-Fri, 9-5 type deal. The opportunity for growth is provided to all, but that growth must be earned by each individual. So just as in life, there are no guarantees. The company has been expanding so some growing pains are to be expected. Those not on board with the company culture e.g. negative, stagnant, or lazy people don't usually last that long.
