Pros

They pay your salary on time.

Cons

It doesn't matter how hard you work, how good you are at your job, or the results you bring, if you're not Swedish, they will always promote a Swedish person over you. Nepotism is everywhere, and this company only cares about pleasing stakeholders. If you see any job postings about improving the user experience and all that, don’t believe it. You won’t be able to make any real changes because you're blocked at every turn. The company doesn’t organize decent events, not even something as simple as pizza on Fridays. They’re extremely restrictive, and alcohol is never allowed. We need to make our own food to bring to Christmas dinner and other events like Easter. Now they want everyone back in the office five days a week. But that’s not even the biggest issue, you have to fight to find a desk, and people talk loudly right next to you, making it terrible for meetings. No matter how much experience you have, during performance evaluations they’ll say, “But you don’t have the Volvo experience,” as if Volvo were on another planet and none of your UX background matters, because they believe they’re just that special.

Pros

Really inclusive environment and most of campus is already with ABW - activity based workplace (flexible seating).

Cons

Sometimes due to the very inclusive environment, decisions can take a little longer.

Pros

Great team of colleagues. Employee who are focused on ensuring their best. Excellent collaboration between teams. Colleagues who will look past the negative culture and continue to do their best for the company.

Cons

Culture & HR team who are clueless about global teams and work strategies. Focus on how many days and hours are spent in the office, rather than quality of work delivered. "You are being tracked by HR" has become the new way of life with the new culture. Total lack of communication after announcing job cuts are coming, due to awful truck sales and loss of market share in USA. Heavily bloated VP structure.
