Pros
The people there are amazing and hard-working, it's a shame that management takes advantage of them because they're too old to go anywhere else.
Cons
Management will burn you out. Expect you to cross-train multiple departments while paying bottom dollar. It's no longer a family environment; they don't do monthly birthday lunches anymore, the "parties" are atrocious, used to be off-site, now you're stuck in the company cafeteria. If you refuse to cross-train, they will just replace you. They do not care about anyone here individually. They only care about profits and will cut anything that gets in their way. Including the quality brand of their own product. They have zero innovation; they had 8 engineers, now they have 2, The company has no innovation, no direction, and no leadership. The equipment is from the early 90s and is failing; instead of looking to invest, they are running constant lean events in departments. Cost savings cost savings cost savings. Cutting hours and wondering why there are so many open sales orders yet no products to ship. Halma is going to sink that company straight into the ground. I hope most of the amazing people have retired or found better opportunities before then.
