Severely misguided company - Application Analyst Visory (MO) Employee Review

Great culture with some of the best people I have had the opportunity to work with. Visory cares about their employees, partners, and clients.

People all over the US so don't get to meet everyone in person, but we do have regional offices that get to visit with each other.

Aside from a regular paycheck and minimal office perks, the company offers few meaningful benefits or incentives.

Leadership lacks urgency and consistency. Decision making is ineffective. Poor performance is widely tolerated, which has led to disengagement among capable, hardworking employees. Many strong contributors have already left or are in the process of leaving, resulting in teams increasingly staffed by underqualified personnel. This is compounded by leadership that is not equipped to address these issues. There are limited opportunities for internal advancement, with most executive and supervisory roles filled by external hires rather than promoting from within. The company experiences high client turnover and poor client retention. The company’s progress is hindered by ineffective leadership, and meaningful improvement will require changes at the management level. Our parent company is disengaged from our long term success, as reflected in who they appoint as “leaders” and their overall level of involvement. In hindsight, accepting this role was a mistake, and I would caution others to carefully consider this before joining.
