Pros

Decent pay, great lower-level employees, nice office environment (snacks, technology, lunches, etc.)

Cons

A corporation of executive leaders working together to cover up each other’s toxic behavior. When new team members, executives, or experienced consultants come into the business with fresh ideas on how to grow, improve processes, increase sales, etc., it's met with resistance every time, and those people are pushed out by the stagnant leadership who feel threatened in their roles. I watched the Marketing Team start from bad (both in leadership and quality of work), get increasingly better with consulting leadership, and then torn down again as executives aimed to protect themselves and their "besties" rather than making the hard and right decisions to grow the team and the business. They promote who they want, instead of who is qualified, just to boost their own egos. As someone who works hard to execute great work and produce quality results, it's frustrating when management chooses the easy route to get things done and puts forth minimal effort. Somehow, they never learn the lesson on why their business isn’t growing as it should, and will constantly blame lower-level employees for not doing their jobs instead of looking in the mirror at management. What could be a great place to work has turned into a place of toxic culture and management, combined with mediocre benefits, extreme lack of flexibility (especially for working mothers – this could be a whole other paragraph, and I’m not even a working mother), and overworked employees.
