Pros

1) Best team and people I've got a chance to work with, they help you in growing with the company 2) Since Viscadia is a boutique consulting firm, it helps you in getting a good understanding of the whole project from tip to toe. 3) Exposure to different therapeutic areas and their nuances by working on a variety of pharma forecast models. 4) Good work-life balance, flexible working hours. 5) Company works with an employee-first approach with a good balance of not deprioritizing client work as well, unlike other consulting firms where a client-first approach is strictly followed.

Cons

1) Since the company works in a small team setting so no organized skill enhancement sessions are in place. Thus, an individual needs to be self-motivated to learn new skills/tools. 2) One may experience slight ups and downs in the workload, but it boils down to an individual's preference how he/she wants to utilize the downtime. 3) Lesser opportunities to be in a client facing role as compared with other firms where you may face the client from Day 1.

Pros

*I can only speak about my own experience, and it does not align with the negative claims made by the supposed Viscadia employees on here.* Every company inevitably experiences periods of change and Viscadia is no exception. This can be a tricky time for employees who expect companies to play a larger role in their career development and trajectory. As Viscadia grows, the company has instituted and is working to formalize processes that are common elsewhere. It's a great place to work if you are motivated to learn, take on new responsibilities and challenges, and develop as a professional and leader. My colleagues are all sharp, committed and there’s a lot of great energy here.

Cons

Viscadia does need to develop internal professional development programs that provide newly promoted staff with a greater understanding of what is expected of them at that level. Clarity around expectations will provide staff with empowerment and a baseline of understanding from which to gauge their own performance.

Pros

On the positive side, I've observed a much healthier work culture in the India office location, and most positions are semi-remote.

Cons

Overall, I've found that the work environment in the US offices could benefit from a stronger sense of community and support. There is strong room for improvement in fostering a more encouraging atmosphere. One key area that could be enhanced is the empowerment of team members by the leadership. There is an unfortunate tendency toward micromanagement and belittlement, which has been a serious concern for many of us. It is toxic and mentally/physically draining I believe a more empowering leadership style could positively impact the overall work experience. Another aspect worth addressing is the sentiment of feeling drained and isolated among team members. Lack-luster health benefits, little work life balance, and poor diversity.
