5yThank you for the review. Because of the nature of the automation team being something that drives efficiency, it's so critical for us to understand the volume of work that goes into creating this because otherwise we could end up in a position of driving efficiency in one area but spending too much time in another creating it. The Agile methodology also requires careful allocation of effort against objectives to optimise the outcome of each sprint. This is the reason we need to closely track the speed at which we can automate - I'm sorry this led you to feel it was micro managed, but its an area of the business that requires this level of scrutiny because it solely exists to enable scalability. Whilst we introduced Engage some time ago, we recently made it compulsory to ensure that we better capture things like untapped skills which you rightly mention is something that a growing organisation should be make best use of. It is a shame that you didn't feel you had the opportunity to reveal your other skills and that is something we will look to improve upon. Cultivating those conversations is a critical outcome from using tools such as engage within the employee development process
