Changes mean that staff are required to do more work without reward or pay increase. Pay is not great and does not improve for long periods of time (years). Working in a gym where people pay a lot for their membership means that they become very frustrated when things go wrong, which means that as the first point of contact you receive a lot of bad treatment from members (rudeness and aggressiveness) which wears you down after a while. The company knows this but does nothing to reduce this or improve the situation. Staff have suffered many cases of abuse which has led to no consequences.
