Pros
Although I'd had many jobs in the past, I started working at Vincego fresh out of University and I only planned on staying a year but there are so many reasons that I ended up staying almost 2 years instead:
The atmosphere and culture of the office is the most fun, energetic and positive of anywhere I had worked in the past. Everyone is supportive and welcome your contribution.
I grew a lot personally and professionally at Vincego because so much of what you do involves learning how best to manage yourself, interact with people and lead others. Upon leaving, I'm confident that my sales, leadership, public speaking abilities and the many other skills I've gained will help me with whatever career opportunities present themselves in the future.
Hard work is definitely recognized here and rewarded with travel and monetary bonuses. During my time there I got to travel around BC and Alberta for business trips, to Montreal, Toronto and Seattle for conferences, and to LA for fun!
For those with a great work ethic, there's opportunity for real growth within the company since it is totally dependent on your performance.
Cons
All of that being said, this is not a place for people who want to put in minimal effort for maximum results. Most of the work you do is simple but you do have to work as hard or harder than most people there, because although the competition is friendly you have to set yourself apart to get the opportunities.
