Pros

Good money. Rent assistance. Research budget. It has good sides and bad sides. It gives a good monthly salary. Rent assistance. There are nice apartments walking distance to the campus. Mall theatre etc. students are very nice but sometimes they tend to cheat. But overall good quality. The hr is coming from corporate world and trying to use the same business model in academia. First because of Vietnamese visa regulations that change every year. Second there are

Cons

Pros

VinUniversity is an inspiring place to work, especially for people who want to be part of a young, ambitious institution with a clear mission. The working environment is dynamic, international, and fast-paced, with many opportunities to contribute beyond a narrow job description. I appreciate the strong leadership vision, the high standards, and the chance to work with talented colleagues from different backgrounds. The university also offers meaningful opportunities for learning and professional growth. Because VinUni is still growing, employees can take ownership of important projects, build new systems, and see the direct impact of their work. The campus is modern, the community is supportive, and there is a strong sense that everyone is working toward something bigger.

Cons

As with many fast-growing organizations, the pace can be intense, and priorities may shift quickly. It requires adaptability, good communication, and the ability to work well under pressure. Some processes are still evolving, but that is also part of the opportunity to help shape the institution.
