Pros

Pays well and adheres to contract terms. Gives you freedom for teacher and respects a teacher's teaching style.

Cons

The school adds tasks mid-school year and provides limited assistance or PD. It has an international sector, but the quality is far from an actual international school. Very short holidays and long school hours.

Pros

Management can be a bit clueless, as the foreign teachers are sectioned off- but they stay pretty hands off so long as you do you job reasonably well. The school is honest in its pay procedures and reasonably decent with its benefits, pay is not extraordinary, but averaging 70K+/mo. is alright for the countryside. Your coworkers are decent folk, and office politics are not really a thing. Classes are pretty small, and while the students aren't angels, there decent kids that won't give you too much of a headache.

Cons

Middle management, one in particular, has poor interpersonal skills and operates in a self-serving manner as apposed to the previous holder of the position who served as an intermediary on behalf of the foreign teachers and upper management. Current middle-management will throw you under the bus to serve themselves. This is only sporadically an issue- but it could happen to you. Paperwork level varies- some teachers get buried. Students English level is decent but not in commensurate with the work required of them in the International program.

Pros

Majority of the teachers handling the International Curriculum, both IGCSE and IBDP, are competent . They are experienced and trained teachers. On the other hand, the coordinator has a rich experience in handling international programmes, both IGCSE and IBDP, as she is also an international teacher with an extensive knowledge and experience. The majority of the teachers (except for a few) including the management are working as a team and has a growth mindset in continuously improving the quality of education.

Cons

The location of school is not too attractive for some teachers.
