Pros
The company really tries to treat their employees well. There were a lot of 'team building' perks. And the company gives a lot of gifts to show appreciation. Every five years you are rewarded with a plaque and a catalog to order a gift which is nice and the selection of gifts is very nice. One year all employees and their spouse got a trip to New York City for a big party. Transport, hotel and meals were paid for. Again, they really show appreciation for working there.
Cons
There is a lot of politics. A LOT! Sometimes it's hard to maneuver and get the job done. Also, the software ship dates are set in stone, so at crunch time there are long days.
