      Pros

      I started about 4 months ago and Vertex has been everything I could have hoped for and more. The company culture is collaborative and fun. Everyone sincerely enjoys coming to work day to day. So far, I have enjoyed every aspect of the company. The team-oriented culture along with fantastic resources have allowed me to learn more than I ever thought I would in such a short amount of time. The people here are incredible and are willing to help with whatever you need! This is especially important coming right out of college.

      Cons

      There have been no downsides so far, sometimes there isn't a ton of work but that is with any job that there will be down time to yourself.

      Pros

      - Valuable to have a job in this market, and somewhere that historically pays a market rate - unlimited PTO for fulltime

      Cons

      - New CEO is something...concerning. Workforce reduction, replacing C-suite with former pals from previous companies, huge push on AI without the subsequent reassurance that our jobs won't be replaced. Seems like the goal is for all of us to train AI to do our jobs before getting let go. Really tone deaf when us little people have livlihoods on the line.
