I have worked at PARQA for nearly 5 years, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about it. No workplace is perfect, but we have the privilege of working with genuinely kind, talented and empathetic humans who care about the people beside them and do great work for the clients they serve. Beyond that, we have unlimited PTO, competitive health and retirement benefits, a hybrid schedule, beer on tap, regular team outings and celebrations, and excellent work-life balance. Leadership meets weekly to forecast the week ahead to ensure no one has more than 35 hours of billable work to do. I have never been part of a company that does that as a standard practice to protect their team from burnout. Throughout my tenure, I have been afforded every growth opportunity I could have asked for, and that same opportunity exists equally for all. The only prerequisites are a great attitude, a humble and hungry mindset, transparent communication (both upward and downward) and a core skill set. We have leaders I would follow off a cliff, people who will go to war with you and set aside their own wants, needs, and time for the sake of the group. PARQA has experienced 80%+ growth YoY, and any company growing at that rate will have its fair share of growing pains, imperfect processes, and imperfect communication from time to time. But the part that matters is that every individual does their absolute best and sharpens each other to do the same. Everyone needs meaning in their work, and we have a truly remarkable opportunity to do important work in modernizing the world of workforce management. I can’t recommend PARQA highly enough if you want to do great work with great people, and live a full, well-balanced life outside the workplace.
Cons
Challenges of any agency environment include wearing many hats, managing frequent and sometimes tight deadlines, and imperfect processes and communication. But PARQA does better than any agency I’ve ever known.
