Pros
Great benefits! Much better than other companies in the industry. Compensation is also slightly higher than in other positions, at least in my area. The atmosphere is pretty friendly and people seem to want to work together as a team rather than every man for himself.
Cons
There's a lot of "red tape" surrounding promotions. Positions are posted as open and then filled without interviewing all applicants. The promotion process is very political and unfair. Senior leadership, at least in my location, seems very out of touch with front-line representatives and supervisors and out of touch with their day to day duties.
