Pros
Veritas has a rich history of Enterprise Storage products and the backbone to many of the cloud environments available today. Good group of people that have a don't give up attitude. Work environment is diverse and inclusive, wants to stand up again as a publicly traded company in a couple years. Opportunities are available in many non support related functions.
Cons
The Carlyle Group as private owners are setting rigid goals and timelines for reaching specific monetary goals to go public- so Veritas had to do some deep cuts in the Bay Area and cull out a few products and groups from their portfolio.
