Some departments are good but most are chaotic and unorganized. - Anonymous employee Veoneer Employee Review

Pros

Flexibility, easy location to get to

Cons

All new employees that started since January 2019 still do not have a 401k set up. The reason they are stating is that there are issues from the Autoliv transition, seems more likely they don’t have any cash to match the employees since they keep telling everyone we don’t have any cash.

Pros

Veoneer (originally Autoliv) was once a great place to work. In the early years, the culture was strong, collaboration was valued, and employees felt invested in. The work itself was meaningful, and there was pride in being part of a company focused on safety and innovation. Many of the direct coworkers were knowledgeable, dedicated, and supportive, which made day-to-day work rewarding.

Cons

After multiple spin-offs and corporate restructuring, the company culture steadily declined. Employees increasingly felt like trading commodities rather than valued contributors. Direction and focus shifted often, communication from upper management became limited, and transparency was lacking. Despite long tenure and experience the decisions around severance felt impersonal and disconnected from actual contributions or institutional knowledge. Support from upper management during transitions was minimal.
