Could be great but very poor management - Contract Administrator Veolia Employee Review

Very toxic environment where everybody is selfish and protective of their on roles for fears that their jobs will be taken over by more capable colleagues, this stems from the fact that there are people who has been there for 10 to 15 years and never had work in any other companies before. They have started off their career at a lower level and moved their way up to the company, not improving their interpersonal skills and staying single minded thinking. Micromanagement and no real hierarchy . Taking other colleagues credits and does not own up to mistakes, specialised in playing the 'blaming game'. Strong office and fields politics which creates a very harmful and suspicious ambiance. No recognition and support from the upper management Great ideas and innovative approaches are not welcomed.
