They pay for gas which I sort of wish they didn't so I wouldve been outta there quicker!

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WORK FOR VENTURE SOLAR Do you want to work for a dishonest unethical company that will expect you to lie to its customers? Maybe a company that will take advantage of you the same way they do their customers?!?! They will try and tell you they are a little small locally owned in one region, which is the biggest lie. (Look for yourself at their locations) You can’t have it both ways guys! What about a company that sends you 60-70-80 miles just to get to one appointment? Oh yea and you are not allowed to confirm before you head out bc company is scared customer will cancel. Or a company that keeps your commissions on future installs that YOU sold to a customer when they fire you after for one month of bad performance in the slower winter months. Venture will be like all the other solar companies out there, promise the world and deliver nothing. In all honestly they are they same bad company as Momentum Solar. The training is pretty sad and pathetic but they don’t care bc they know you will most likely leave or get fired. Their model is HIRE BURN AND CHURN. When you interview they will tell you they have 20-30 leads per month for you to run however, half of those are people who already met with us numerous times but are really just wasting everyone’s time. The appointment setting team gets a commission on appointments they set, which means they practically force people into making appointments they don’t really need or want but they will still count towards your percentages which they will use to fire you! They will also tell potential customer “We have new pricing” (which is completely false obviously) just to get back in the house. And oh ya almost forgot the best part. YOU WILL BE LEAVING THEM WITH THE HIGHEST PRICED PROPOSAL 9/10 times. But don’t worry all you need to do is get the other companies proposals from customer so we can cut our price in half and match! OH BABY HERE WE GO! The owners pretend to be so involved in all aspect of the business which is false of course bc they wouldn’t let what’s going on happen. Or would they?!?! They love preaching honestly and transparency which they give to neither employees or customers. They are turning into greedy corporate snakes that only care about their revenue numbers. Thank God I didn’t sign up any of my friends or family bc I would never have seen any commission. RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN LIKE AN ANTELOPE OUTTA CONTROL AWAY FROM Venture Solar!

Pros

-Some nice people and support staff, the corporate office seems nice. - getting to know all different areas of the city.

Cons

- the training is near nonexistent, the sales managers are snarky and does a very poor job sharing what knowledge they have to prevent issues. -Extremely high turnover combines with bad team leadership means that that sales team has 0 team culture or comradery, makes a isolating job even more so. -Very long hours, days start at 9am and you may be given same day appointments as late as 7pm with only a few hours notice.
