Pros
My schedule is consistent which is nice. The firm I am assigned to has some nice amenities. My immediate supervisor is decent.
Cons
We are overworked for little pay. Our job is extremely technical. This isn't just a mail room, printing and copying. There are so many details you need to remember and check constantly. Sadly there are no yearly raises. They do evaluations each year but I'm not sure of the reason because the salary you are brought in at, is the salary you stay at no matter how long you have worked there. There is literally no room for growth. No opportunities to move up the ladder. With the cost of living increase every year, you're essentially losing money if you stay long term. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy what I do am I'm really good at it, but we are taken for granted without anything to show for it. Also, no 401k match. If you're looking for something short term to beef up some experience than it's good, but it is not sustainable long term.
