Hi, dear colleague, We are happy to hear that your onboarding went well and that you are very happy with Vector as your employer. Thank you for your review: great! With your review “great management” you honour the performance of the managing directors. And yet, you have some doubts, which we want to clarify. Working at management level at Vector has nothing to do with your cultural background or your nationality, but only with your skills and your potential to lead teams. Moreover, in a management position you usually talk a lot, so being able to communicate in German as well as in English is important. On the other hand, being a proficient German speaker, does not automatically indicate that your cultural background is also German. So, there is a bias which I think we all must constantly work on, not to judge a book by its cover. So, keep up the good spirit and when in doubt, please don’t hesitate to speak to your trusted AER colleague.
