Good Company - Sales Associate Vantage Resort Realty Employee Review

During my time at Vantage, which lasted several years before staying home with my children full-time, I really enjoyed my co-workers and flexibility of my position. Vantage strives to hire a quality work-force and gets it right most of the time. It was nice to be a part of an atmosphere where everyone cared about the quality of our service and product. All employees were encouraged to voice their opinions for positive change and growth, and Vantage was always evolving for the good of its internal and external customers. My position allowed me to work both from home and in the office which worked very well for me. I appreciated the flexibility and good work life balance. Compensation was satisfactory.

At the time of my departure, upper management was changing. Inexperienced leadership was being replaced with hopefully more stable and experienced leaders. The general staff, however, continued to perform well during the shift.

I worked for Vantage from the beginning until 2013. From outside sources, the company has been recognized as being the fastest growing vacation rental company in the country. And with over 700 properties under management, they are now one of the largest as well. The Sr. leadership team is dialed-in and they are continuously improving. There are incredible opportunities to grow within the company and with sister organizations too. There were (and I assume still are) great benefits, including health insurance, retirement and really cool travel perks all over the country. As I understand it, the company is also expanding into other markets which leads to other future growth opportunities. All things considered, Vantage is an incredible company to work for.

With any company that has grown as quickly as Vantage has, there are always growing pains. Developing systems and processes, especially early on while I was there, is always difficult when you're drinking out of a fire hose. Luckily it sounds like most of those growing pains have been worked out. Also, a super highly seasonal business where 90% of your business happens over a 12 week season can be stressful.
