Pros
I've been working at Vanilla Forums for two years and I can unabashedly say that this is the best company I have worked for. Management and Executives have done an incredible job hiring and building a cohesive team from Sales, to Developers, to Customer Success. The company is extremely flexible when it comes to work/life balancing and I have never felt micromanaged. If I needed to take time off it was an easy request that was always approved and with how the team is set up, we always covered each other when on vacation. There has been great opportunity to grow into my role as Senior CSM as I was able to achieve this position within the 2 years I worked here, especially coming from a Sales and having no Customer Success Experience. The benefits plan is fantastic as well along with the paid vacation, personal days, and sick days. Fair and balanced pay that is up to the positions median in the area.
Cons
The only negatives come from typical growing pains. There is not enough technical resources available to the Custoemr Success team to efficiently do our jobs. The Support development teams need more developers as well. There is no company RRSP matching
