Cons
What was once a job I looked forward to going to, has become nothing more then a soulless corporate machine. Company was sold several years ago, and the down turn just began from there. Fire and hire, is the only strategy employed. You stop bothering trying to learn names, as the person you meet today, could literally be gone in a week. Management doesn't care about innovation or ideas to make the company more efficient. They just want people to shut up, and do what they are told. C Suite Level: Utterly clueless what actually goes on in the company, only spending time trying to look good to the corporate overlords. Try actually walking the line, and talking to your people, instead of huddling in your offices all day. Directors: Petty little politicians, fiercely protective of their corner of the world, and maintaining their grasp on power. They will fight, bicker, and otherwise do whatever it takes to maintain their grasp on power, including throwing each other, or anyone else they can under the bus. Managers: Similar to the Directors, but they just care about making their numbers. You will be worked hard, often, and frequently past human limits. Grunts: Given what the cutthroat nature company culture has become, watch your back. People will posture, jockey, and shove, to position themselves as superstars, all in the name of job security. You will be email sniped, thrown under the bus, and taken advantage of whenever possible.
