Pros
- I met some of the best human beings during my years at Valtech. - I learned a lot of new and interesting technologies/stacks. - The compensation package was not bad.
Cons
The company is currently undergoing a difficult cultural transformation due to the various acquisitions it has made. Higher leadership is pushing a consulting approach where employees are considered numbers and can be disposed at any moment in order to save money. There is a blatant lack of vision and cohesion, everybody is steering in different directions. A very negative attitude is growing among employees and morale is getting lower and lower. Unfortunately, I completely lost trust in the higher leadership team and decided to leave, especially since most of my colleagues had already left, were openly talking about leaving or were laid off. I used to really love Valtech, but I have to face the facts: the company has changed a lot, and it's time to move on. I would not recommend a permanent position in this company at the moment.
