This is my best part and I'm thinking where to start from.... 1) IR Function: This IR company does not know the meaning of Investor Relations as a function. They ONLY do cold callings to investors to pitch a company to which the investors abuse you on your face because not only the employees but also they are frustrated with so many calls being made to them. When you join this organisations, understand that you image and self-esteem is gone to drains. 2) Learning: There is ABSOLUTELY NO LEARNING because you pitch the company by just reading like a sales guy. The only learning you can expect is reciting like a parrot. 3) Job Description: This like a scam of 1992. High expectations build by CEO and HR about the quality of work that there is 50% equity research which is untrue. At the end you will have to do only and only CALLS and get a feedback from investors that quality of clients are bad and the company doesn't know how to do IR and they just keep CALLING AGAIN AND AGAIN 4) Another Scam: During the period of 5th July 20 to 9th July, the company asked all the employees to WRITE A POSITIVE REVIEW FOR THE COMPANY on glassdoor and failing to which they will have to face salary cuts. This was during Covid times. Also to validate they asked screenshots of reviews and then cross-verified. Now you know why they don't understand IR because they are busy doing these petty things. Have you ever seen suddenly so many positives about the company out of nowhere. I was also one of them who was forced to write it but now I am rectifying it by actually speaking the truth 5) The most busiest person: HR, because the attrition rate is so high that every month they have to hire someone new, hence keeping them away with coming up with team-building activities like raangoli (just on a lighter note). Employees are treated like slaves and that is the reason they will within few days or months now. 6) Compensations & Bonus: While joining they will say that "We pay more that the industry in terms of salary and bonus" They will say this because they know that you don't know the industry so they can bluff. AGAIN A SCAM. Performance bonus is decided in the month of march and split up in the upcoming 3 quarters ie June, September and December so anytime you thing of leaving during these times then be prepared to forego your bonus payments too. They also have a policy of conversion bonus to which the CEO will smartly say that it cannot be paid because the client did not pay or they left or you're on notice and what not. Before Covid there was a 1500 per month benefits which was given for mobile and traveling, which now cease to exist because according to the CEO the company is still reviving and since its WFH there is not traveling. Infact the company is saving so much money and all that goes in the pockets of CEO. So by not paying the hardworking employees, CEO uses that money for his own luxury by buying cars like Merc. Don't know what more to say. A free advice, there are many more IR agencies. Please go for that since they have better clients, better learning and better pay. You will actually learn the true meaning of IR.
