Feels very corporate and not in a good way. Company has an air of depression around it. Semi-niche product line. Lots of cold calling. Company strategy benefits executive team, almost-exclusively.
Based on conversations with numerous other reps, a lot of reps were not close to the OTE provided in our comp plans, since the large majority of reps were far from quota.
Be prepared for many uncomfortable sales calls with customers who are more than upset that you're telling them to pay 10x from last year for the same tool/service.
Uncomfortable business practices (acquire, inflate cost up to 10x, resell exact same product/service and hope customers don't blow you up) and extremely low morale.
For good employees, above average turnover, as a lot of talent left willingly (yikes). A lot of overpromise/underdeliver to employees and it eventually catches up and good people leave.
Many reps constantly have one foot out the door waiting for something to come their way, so it makes it hard to recommend Validity.
Moral of the story - Job market is hot, so there are easy-to-find, better alternatives for an inside sales rep role, based on some simple online tools/searches.
