Pros

Company truck, laptop, cell phone, set your own schedule so they say. Pay is ok not great. Make some great friends.

Cons

No help from upper management they know there is a problem with turnover with valets and they are not doing anything about it! You ask for help and don't get it they blame you for not hiring enough people. The problem is the company is not paying enough for a labor-intensive position. The smart ones pick it up after the first paycheck and quit! You hire one service valet and two quit. Count on Sunday's having three to four people call out and then usually one will quit on a Sunday so now being the District Manager you are responsible to pick up all that trash for the 4 or 5 people that are missing at night possibly staying out till 3or 4 in the morning. District Managers be ready for some long hours and a lot of pulling trash. Last thing there no vacations you will be on the phone the whole time or if you did stay in the area you will most l likely be pulling trash . Stay away from this Equity company they don't care about your worklife balance it's all about the bottom line to them.

Pros

The company support and benefits are great. They do try and train you but you're on your own since it's a remote job. You need to be a self starter and ok working alone.

Cons

The product is not worth it. You have to rely on bad part time employees to do a quality job which is picking up trash. It's hard to find someone to take that job who could work somewhere else for the same pay. You are always fixing problems but the solution isn't good enough all you can do is replace or retrain the valets. When residents screw up it's still our fault. The peoe who oversee operations are stretched thin and can't fix anything. I've also been through 3 mass firings in 2 years. The company is always letting people go to cut costs.
