Divisions with the company operate as silos, don't help each other, and charge the other divisions for parts or help. There is an unjustifiable atmosphere of paranoia around trade secrets. Their core business is to take parts that car manufacturers need and make them smaller and cheaper. There is a clear lack of innovation in the company. Ideas outside of "sell a piece of hardware to a car manufacturer" are thrown out very quickly.
