Pros
Doing good in the world with the products you work on. Great group of peers and coworkers. Great PTO schedule.
Cons
Major lack of transparency from management. Poor pay and bonus structures. Travel is seen as a perk by management rather than a burden, so starting in one position, taking on additional duties, and then having your travel expectations doubled does not come with any additional pay. They will cut people, then spread the workload, not get new hires, lose knowledge base, and not increase compensation for the employees carrying the added loads. Bonus structures are tied to metrics you have zero control over. Company does things like cash stock buybacks and takes it out of the bonus pool while regular employees don't have a stocks as part of compensation and completely lose out on a move like that.
