Pros
Great Benefits. Very talented staff. Fresh daily fruit, free coffee. Opportunities to work from home.
Cons
Aggressive micro management. Managers at the top are unaware of how middle managers manage and missed the mark on checking middle manager leadership abilities or providing proper guidance to lead/manage successfully. There is also a lack of access to upper management to express issues leaving subordinates to fend for themselves.
Creativity is stifled. Working for a company that does not have the power to make the final creative decision is often defeating.
Lack of room for growth.
Poor communication. Managers should communicate feedback clearly and effectively to their colleagues and staff whenever possible. Speak in person often or even on the phone- too much email communication, or second, third hand or greater relay of comments
