Thank you for sharing your perspective.
We are disappointed to see this review, as it contains several factual inaccuracies regarding the nature of the relationship, onboarding process, communication, and compensation structure.
The reviewer was engaged as an independent contractor, not an employee, and worked with Virtual Gal Friday for less than one week. Prior to beginning onboarding, the contractor informed us of a planned surgery and delayed their start date. Once recovered, we welcomed them back into the onboarding process.
Our onboarding process, training structure, compensation model, contractor relationship, and payment schedules are clearly outlined throughout our website, onboarding materials, contractor agreements, and communications. Contractors are provided with self-paced training resources, documentation, and review sessions designed to help them learn systems, workflows, and client expectations before taking on responsibilities independently.
We take compensation obligations seriously. Contractor time submissions are reviewed according to our standard procedures and paid according to our established payment schedule and contractor agreement. We communicated directly with this contractor regarding the status and timing of payment.
Because we respect the privacy of our clients, contractors, and team members, we do not publicly discuss individual performance matters or contract decisions.
Virtual Gal Friday continues to invest in technology, automation, training, and operational improvements to better support our clients, contractors, and internal team. We believe that embracing innovation while maintaining a strong human-centered approach allows us to provide exceptional support to the healthcare and professional service practices we serve.
We remain committed to providing flexible remote contractor opportunities for individuals who thrive in a self-directed, independent work environment, and we wish this individual success in their future endeavors.
