Pros
VIAVI has very layoff-averse leadership at the top level, making it a very stable place to work. Prior to the market-contraction across the tech space, we very routinely got a twice-yearly bonus payout. Management is generally quite communicative and transparent.
Cons
Not a lot of company culture. Office experience was a bit depressing, and after the pandemic, expectations on employees' to return to the office were uncharacteristically muddled, and ultimately the severe clamp-down on remote work for certain departments left a sour taste in everyone's mouths that upper management refused to have dialogue on.
