Pros

Already well-known in the VC industry while being on the market for only a few years Big clients Great community with ambitious and hardworking, dedicated people High flexibility Nice office and creative teambuildings, creative and interesting off-work hours activities

Cons

Product and its features are mostly catching up on the competition, no thought leadership in the market in meaning of unique value to clients Don´t expect experienced management - just a bunch of junior managers with minimum soft leadership skills No feedback processes set - receiving nor giving No recognition culture - your contributions will most likely end up as granted

Pros

Proven product-market fit. Paying clients across Europe. Trustworthy, bullshit-less founders. Very nice offices in a modern coworking space in the city center. There is a barista on-site and a rooftop terrace. Salaries are competitive in Bratislava - Slovak bubble.

Cons

Only locally hiring - no international colleagues. Most of the team members have no previous experience in a startup environment. They were not a part of decision-making in previous, larger, employers, so many times they do not understand the context or wider implications of certain decisions. Also, they do not understand the role of other teams, as they did not get cooperate closely with such teams in previous companies. A lot of stubborn people on the team.

Pros

- No one stands in your way if you have a value-adding initiative (+ there is support from external consultants) - Competitive compensation and benefits, incl. within the Bratislava startup bubble - Increasing number of experienced colleagues sharing their experience and building based on learnings acquired elsewhere

Cons

- Most of the team still doesn't have experience, so there's a lot of learning to be had - International expansion might be a challenge, yet to be proven how they handle it
