Pros

VEGA is a privately owned German owned company that manufactures and sells great industrial instrumentation products. The marketing and technical support is top notch as is the training for new employees.

Cons

American-based (regional level) sales management tend to be comprised of career-climbing, sycophantic and opportunistic bone-heads very skilled at groveling to their betters. Always amusing to watch, I'll admit - but not good for your own career development.

Pros

Vega America is a truly great place to learn the industry, increase your sales knowledge and constantly improve your business acumen. You have a solid career path if you are so inclined.

Cons

It is a customer-facing role. Not everyone is suited for constant plant visits and conducting lunch and learns. Cold calling is a must.

Set your own schedule. Amazing onboarding. Never micromanaged. Established customer base. Minimum 3% raise. Heard of up to 12% for high performers Company Vehicle for personal use.

Cons

Health insurance is a joke. No comission - does not incentivize you to hustle. They incentivize you with a $300 gift card every quarter. Lots of travel the first year. No room for advancement unless you want to travel 50-70%
