Pros
The people who do the work on the front lines at VCU Health are amazing. These nurses and doctors give their all. The pay and benefits are surprisingly exceptional. Flexibility for those in non-clinical roles.
Cons
Zero accountability, especially for physicians who misbehave and senior leaders who do not perform. The hr department at that organization is a mess. Their leader has never shown up in the hospital to express support for team members. She was gone all throughout the pandemic and not once step foot on any site. Leaders talk about change, but it never comes.
